Turning Spit Into Spectra

Full-stack, salivary biomarker analyses
Leveraging mass spectrometry for highly sensitive analyses to eliminate tedious blood draws for daily testing.
ISO 27001 compliant and highly secured processes and servers ensure privacy and data safety.
Proprietary processes and AI bring high throughput testing while reducing costs 10x vs. blood draws.
Mass Spectrometry - what is it?
Mass spectrometry ionises the molecules in a saliva sample and sorts them by their mass-to-charge ratio, producing a unique spectral fingerprint for every biomarker. In one pass we quantify hundreds of metabolites with laboratory-grade precision. No needles, no reagent kits, just a painless 60-second collection that fits the tempo of elite sport.
Among nineteen male collegiate runners, dehydration significantly decreased sit-and-reach and straight-leg-raise flexibility while increasing posterior-leg stiffness compared with euhydration, suggesting compromised tissue mechanics, reduced performance, and heightened injury risk levels.
Among elite male rugby players, saliva profiling revealed 32 concussion-linked small non-coding RNAs; a 14-sncRNA panel distinguished concussed from controls immediately and 36-48 h post-game (AUC 0.93–0.96), enabling non-invasive diagnosis.
Among 22 concussed and 10 control contact-sport athletes, five upregulated salivary microRNAs (let-7i-5p, miR-27b-3p, miR-135b-5p, miR-142-3p, miR-107) reliably diagnosed mild traumatic brain injury 48–72 h post-concussion, outperforming protein biomarkers for accuracy.
We don’t guess.
We measure — with science that sees what others miss.
